FSDB is just located few miles from St. Augustine beach area over the bridge.

The recent ten-foot metal security fence installment is totally true, not any kind of fabrication.

You could check out the Google maps with the FSDB street address and see for yourself.

FSDB could do much better than putting this scary fence. It should design some kind of fence - less intimidating and prison-less feelings for students and visitors to match the looks of buildings.

RLMRLMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03944804788920891331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7696461118314848250.post-4607344368996525922009-01-30T14:13:00.000-05:002009-01-30T14:13:00.000-05:00First of all, thanks to Robert Alfred Hawkins and ...First of all, thanks to Robert Alfred Hawkins and Karen Mayes for raising issues and questions about the importance of source links and data manipulations.

Anonymous, I have no problems with you and others dispute with the so-called facts concerning the FSDB.

I also am kinda skeptical, but many deaf people in general still buy into the mythical numbers and test scores, etc.

The state of Florida is generally known for its worst educational system as compared to many states.

Many deaf people keep believing that the FSDB is only the residential school of the deaf next to the beach area.

That is largely inaccurate. Or was this in fact just in comparison to deaf pupils in Florida schools other than FSD or is it FSDB? Now you can see why data can be very misleading. I didn't fall for such manipulative baloney spewed here in my backyard (Maryland) among the schools (deaf and non-deaf alike). Was the test watered-down in line to watered-down curricula (same as a county public school system but not alike rigorous in intellectual applications)? Were the tests administered in ASL?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
