Can you elaborate on what you're ...Anonymous,

Can you elaborate on what you're saying because as parents if there are medical treatment accepted by the AMA, then parents have every right to OK or turn it down. No one can tell the parent what to do. Exceptions are when parents REFUSES treatment for their child and that the law sees that it will harm the child, the law/government CAN and WILL interfere. Examples of that would be cancer treatment for a child who will die if he/she does not have that treatment.

You need to give me an example of what you mean.

As parents I DO have every right to decide whether I want my son to be circumcised. I have every right to decide if I want my child to be implanted. I have every right to decide whether I want my deaf child to use the listening or speanking mode. I have every right to decide whether I want my child to use ASL.

CandyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7696461118314848250.post-8970613918307674242010-02-27T00:49:30.106-05:002010-02-27T00:49:30.106-05:00Sorry Candy, the law does not give parents the rig...Sorry Candy, the law does not give parents the right to have ANY medical treatmeant or procedure done on their child. I dare you. Please do.

CandyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7696461118314848250.post-17117700156913289622010-02-26T19:00:39.131-05:002010-02-26T19:00:39.131-05:00I love this blog.
