https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/baby_driver/#audience_reviews
https://youtu.be/LqxLB8hAoDE
https://youtu.be/z2z857RSfhk

Too bad, "Baby Driver" producers, Wiki and other publicity sources didn't bother to enclose CJ Jones as part of the film cast because he had a pivotal role as the aging foster father to the leading character within the "Baby Driver" film. Neither the film poster or film trailer didn't include the image / appearance of CJ Jones. :-(
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baby_Driver

The IMBD social media aggregator is only the one of film community to list CJ Jones as part of the film crew and his biographical information - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3890160/fullcredits/

The film producers and film studio and distributor ought to appreciate CJ Jones' self-promotion efforts for catching the niche audience to flock and see the "Baby Driver" film.

Haven't seen the film clip of CJ Jones' performance in "Baby Driver" film yet. Nor know if his performance is worthy-seeing. Just the film publicity still shots. :-(

Will the CJ performance be the standout role within the "Baby Driver" film? Wait and see..
Don't know what will be the given response(s) by the Deaf-blind community regarding this French-produced film. Deaf actress Arlana Rivoire have been casted to play the untamed and unpolished Deaf-blind.
Of course, "The Miracle Worker". There is the same disease, same physical struggle with a stubborn teen to force her to learn, but in French not English.

I appreciated the photography and the location but I continually had to resist the temptation to check my watch. It might be just over 90 minutes but at times it seemed like hours. It would drag and drag and then suddenly leap forward after she learns the sign for one object. The next thing we know is she is showing off how she can spell her name and understanding abstract concepts like 'patience'. There was also the monologue at the end which seemed especially message-y.

I liked the acting by Isabelle Carré and Brigitte Catillon but Ariana Rivoire as the deaf/blind girl didn't impress. Possibly it was just because she had so little to work with.

To sum up, see "The Miracle Worker" instead.

"Marie's Story" film is also available for home viewing upon individual purchase -
That explained how Gates got himself into the world of computing after real fascination how the electronic data transmitted over telephone wires.

Here is the proof of Bill Gates' acquiantance with the TTY machine is on the end of Wiki enclosure -
The presence of Deaf people surely contributed to the innovations and best of humanity within the history of humankind like Thomas Edison's improvement of electric light bulb and movie camera and the cloverleaf design of modern highways, etc.
Barry was well-known for promoting the civil rights for many people including Deaf people.

The Barry administration vigorously pushed the citywide public transportation provider known as "Metro" to install the TTY ( teletype machines for the Deaf) @ all Metrorail stations in mid-1980's before the passage of the American With Disabilites ( ADA) law in 1990.

Marion Barry's close friend and other Deaf residents founded the "DeafPride" non-profit organization to promote the civil rights for Deaf people within DC area. The organization was riddled with corruption and finanical mismanagement over years. The founder ( Wilson) was rumored for buying yacht and other luxury stuffs with organization funding from the city's finanical allocation. The "DeafPride" organization was located @ 1350 Potomac Avenue, Southeast. The founder was a hearing woman who had a Deaf son.

The Barry administration seems helping several Deaf DC teenagers got the summer jobs over years.

The former mayor attended Rep. Eleanor Horton's public forum on Hillary Clinton's health care reform in 1993 which handful of Deaf DC residents like Barbara Kannappell, Dr. Betty Miller and Robert Mason also attended. Barry arrived very late at the forum. Mason was supposed to hand over papers ( not related to health care reform) to Kannappell. Barry grabbed the seat in middle of Deaf group on the front-row seatings between me and Kannappell. He disrespectfully seized papers intentionally for Kannappell from Mason and browsed papers. Barry finally handed papers to Kannappell. Barry didn't offer any kind of apology for such an inconvience.

The majority of Deaf American citizens and undocumented Deaf individuals still do not have any language access to understand the federal law for the health insurance coverage requirement or face the severe fine by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

The federal government under President Obama's leadership and the Secretary of U.S. Health and Human Services, Kathleen Selbus surely failed the millions and millions of signing Deaf Americans and other deaf individuals whose lack the full language comphrension of the complicated ACA law without providing the full language access within the ACA website. The primary language among signing and culturally Deaf Americans are the use of American Sign Language (ASL).

The Affordable Care Act website clearly not provide the equal language access for the millions and millions of signing & culturally Deaf American citizens nor provide the gestural sign language for the undocumented Deaf individuals.

The Obama Adminstration provided numerous language access from Arabic to Spanish language on the ACA website while failed to provide the equal language access for the signing & culturally Deaf Americans and undocumented Deaf individuals.

Other deaf individuals whose attended the non-traditional educational settings of the Deaf like the public / private schools or schools specialized in audio-verbal therapy (AVT) to deny the use of any sign language which many of them lack the full language development or understanding of many reading materials. Those educational settings often undermine many deaf students from reaching their language acquisition potentials. The following individuals end up relying upon the use of American Sign Language or other means of gestural languages to grasp the concept and understanding of any given subjects.

The National Association of the Deaf (NAD) also failed to ensure that the millions and millions of Deaf Americans and the undocumented Deaf individuals to have the full language access to the ACA website thru the use of American Sign Language (ASL) and gestural sign language. NAD never did anything to make sure that the Deaf America to comply with the Affordable Care Act law before many Deaf Americans are innocently being fined.

Evidently, too many Deaf Americans and undocumented Deaf individuals completely having such an anxiety attack or total misunderstandings of what the ACA law all about from the social media postings.

Handful of low-income Deaf Medicaid and Medicare recepitents' health insurance coverage have been unjustly taken away without any due process because many states trying to save $$ for other uninsured hearing individuals.

The National Association of the Deaf ( NAD) never give any assistance to the emotionally distressing and language-deprived Deaf individuals how to deal with the systematic exclusion of their given health insurance coverages meeting the poverty level guideline, ex. making the formal request for an appeal hearing to keep / continue their state health insurance coverage. The direct assistance were privately given by the author of this blog without getting paid or formally recognized.

My 2006 "RLMDEAF" blog posting did urge Deaf America to get the congressional legislation for the protection of our minority / community language use known as American Sign Language. That blog posting mysteriously disappeared into thin air. Don't know how it disappeared.

This PDF attachment from the European Union is an excellent reading for how to get the constitutional amendment to protect our ASL from being assaulted upon, denied, watered down, dismissed, scorned, misguided and mangled.

http://www.inclusionexclusion.nl/site/?download=Tina%20Ferle%20Manca%20Setinc%20-%20constitutional%20protection%20of%20minority%20languages%20in%20the%20EU.pdf

Handful of Asian countries like Indonesia already had the legal protection of minority / community language. Australia ever have the congressional protection of indigenous language (s), too.

Let's get busy to get in the coalition with the allies of language rights to make the constitutional amendment to protect ASL as a minority / community language before the election of 2014 !

Please sign up for the coalition - ASL as Protected "Minority /Community Language" to get the U.S. Congress and the linguistic communities across the United States of America.
After viewing the YouTube posting of the Access Hollywood's latest interview with Sean Berdy on the issue of cochlear implant storyline within ABC Family Channel's " Switched at Birth" (SAB) tv show.

No open captions or visibility of American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter in front of camera for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing YouTube viewers to understand and follow what the given questions to Berdy by the Access Hollywood interviewer.

That is so unfair to deprive the Deaf and Hard of Hearing TV audience to struggle or feel lost what is going on with the Berdy interview.

Sean Berdy and his agent and the ABC Family Channel publicity unit is also responsible for the lack of accessibility for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing YouTube viewers. All involved parties should make
sure that the accessibility for the Deaf and Hard if Hearing YouTube viewers being provided with open captions either provide the transcript readily attached to the YouTube posting.

The Access Hollywood should re-post the Berdy interview with open captions real soon as possible for the fans of ABC Family Channel's " Switched at Birth" . Thanks in advance.
The British king and the Parilament made the major mistake with the "salutary neglect" during the colonial rules until the end of "French and Indians" War.

The British government was in deep monetary debts from spending on wars. So the colonists did not pay their fair shares on the cost of security and protection against the Native Americans after the Proclamation Line of 1763 got issued.

The pre-Revolutionary colonists had most "freest" people on the world at that time, but they just don't want to pay the fair shares on taxes! In the end, the colonists just whined and revolted the words of Thomas Paine, an author of "Common Sense".

After the existence of Video Relay Service (VRS) and Videophone (VP), the FCC led the communication policy greatly affecting the use of relay service - text and video services. This agency also do the payment allocation from the Telephone Relay Services (TRS) to cover the cost of interstate and local VRS calls among Deaf VRS/VP users.

For past few months, there were such a speculation about the replacement of FCC chairman after the Obama's re-election for bringing Obama's personal stamps on the FCC policies and leadership rudders. Names were suggested among the FCC advocates and communication industry.

http://business.time.com/2013/02/21/as-fcc-chiefs-term-nears-end-speculation-mounts-over-possible-successor/

To no available, the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) and the organizations of the Deaf seems not bother to make the efforts to see the replacement for the FCC chairperson to remain the Deaf-friendly policies.

NAD had been cowardly backing off from pushing the inclusion of low-cost monthly broad width coverage for the low-income Deaf people for the purpose of VRS/VP use at their private residence.

http://www.nad.org/issues/civil-rights/communications-act/21st-century-act

NAD sacrificed the low-income Deaf people to preserve the 21th Century Communication Access legislation from being bonked out. The low-income Deaf people got sidelined from getting the equal access for the use of VRS/VP at home which the hearing low-income people regularly benefits from the Lifeline program for years.

The hearing low-income Americans greatly benefit from the which they would be not deprived from
the phone access in any way. The hearing senior citizens in District of Columbia usually pay only one dollar for the monthly phone service while low-income elderly Deaf people have to pay the costly service for the broad width use for accessing to the VRS/VP at their residences.

Look at what the FCC offer the low-cost phone assistance programs for hearing low-income individuals since 1985 - http://www.fcc.gov/lifeline

Is that really fair for the low-income or elderly Deaf Americans to be burdensome with the costly of broad width access??

The FCC under the Obama Administration vigorously fought for the Net Neutrality policies to be in place to assist the Rural America. The communication industry fought back against the costly installation of broad width line along the rural area which the Obama administration lost the major court case. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/07/technology/07net.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0

Look at Presidential candidate Barack Obama's promises in 2007 - http://news.cnet.com/8301-10784_3-9806707-7.html

The Obama administration flinched on the issue of Net Neutrality in 2010 -
http://www.care2.com/causes/the-obama-administration-flinches-on-net-neutrality.html

The main question for all of us, Deaf America - Should we really worry about President Obama's nomination of FCC chairperson replacement - Wheeler, the lobbyist for wireless and cable industry??

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/04/30/obama-fcc-thomas-wheeler/2124719/

We need to think over and what to do next for ourselves within Deaf America.
The event is co-hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Center for Investigating Healthy Minds at the Waisman Center and the UW-Madison Global Health Institute.
Davidson, founder of the Center for Investigating Healthy Minds.
During the panel discussions, the experts will present their best work on global health and sustainable well-being, organizers say. The Dalai Lama will respond to these insights and add his own thoughts and encouragement of how to continue to bring these ideas forward in the world.
"Unsustainable consumption of natural resources now threatens the health of our planet and, subsequently, our human species," says Jonathan Patz, director of the Global Health Institute. The magazine usually feature the selected guy within DC area to be their coverboy of the week.

This week's Coverboy happened to be the graduate of Gallaudet University - Joseph, an Asian 20s guy. Not available at this online posting yet. His photo and Coverboy Confidential data already went out on the printed copies of Metroweekly, but not posted online yet. Joesph was adopted as a kid from South Korea and raised in the Hawkeye State (Iowa). He also raised in the farm with 14 siblings.

That Joesph seems not wanted to disclose himself as a deaf person or really the HUG (hearing graduate) himself? His study major was government and had been in the student internship for Honorable Tom Harkins, U.S. Senator, D-Iowa. Joseph greatly admired the senator for his endless advocacy for disabled people as what Joesph said within the interview.

Joesph's exact quote for MetroWeekly's Coverboy Confidential interview :

Who is your greatest influence?

Tom Harkins. He's not only been an advocate for people with disabilities, but he's voted his conscience, what he thinks is right. Since I've been able to vote, I've voted for him.

Why I bring up this guy? Joesph might have the future political career of his. From what Joseph told the interviewer -

Define good in bed.

I wouldn't mind answering something like that, but I work with the government. And I have plans to run for office someday.

Joseph did not mention anything deaf or truly proud of being a deaf person. Or the Metroweekly magazine interviewer and editor rather omit any reference to him being deaf or really hearing himself?

The past deaf individuals like Lee Trevathan and Dan and Cesar Ayala have been featured as the Metroweekly's Coverboy. Lee Trevathan and Cesar Ayala made into the final selection for the annual Coverboy of the Year few years ago.

Look at the photo of Lee Trevathan for the MetroWeekly's Coverboy of the Year 2005 from Ridor9th's "Observe, Do Not Interfere" blog -

Dan, another Coverboy got mentioned about being deaf and studied to be the CDI (Certifited Deaf Interpreter) -
Synder-Garnder Died in Recent FireRegretfully informed you, RLMDEAF readers about the unfortunate incident involved Deaf Gallaudet University math professor and her daughter and ten pets died in the rented house blaze.

The name of Gallaudet University deaf math professor - It's Laura Synder-Garnder. Very sad. Her deaf daughter, Mary Ann, a junior at Gallaudet University, was killed as well as ten pets- two dogs and eight cats. Laura Synder-Garnder had very outgoing personality.

Laura's son taught math at Gallaudet, too.

No photo available of Laura Synder-Garnder. Just the group photo of Gallaudet University's Science, Technology and Mathematics Department. No idea of what Laura Synder-Garnder look like.

http://www.gallaudet.edu/STM.html

That assumed Laura Synder-Garnder to be the contractual employee, not the tenured or full-time professor.

Here is the individual photo of deceased Laura Synder-Garnder from Gallaudet employee file :

How sad about any adult violate the child's body in that manner!! Why takes so long for the school authorities catch up with this sexual predator toward our precious deaf youth??

At least, someone came forward to report on the male dormitory aide's inappropriate behaviors toward students.

So the MD School for the Deaf ought to screen all school personnel more vigorously to ensure no further sexual assaults happen again to any student(s).

http://www.wjla.com/articles/2012/12/clarence-taylor-charged-with-sexual-abuse-at-maryland-school-for-the-deaf-82834.html

Hopefully, the male dorm residence aide will be brought to the justice if he is really guilty of doing to students. This blogger do not know whether this sexual predator is hearing or deaf himself.
From reading actor Robert Wagner's autobiography book this early morning. http://www.amazon.com/Pieces-My-Heart-Low-Price/dp/B005K5PP3C

You could find what Robert Wagner really look like - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Wagner Actor Robert Wagner was known as the first twinky star for teen girl audience.

To my own shocks about the legendary actress Bette Davis was overly prejudiced toward anyone, who could not hear. Robert Wagner was a well-known actor in handful of films and television series. Wagner wrote that actress Bette Davis blurted out "She could not hear!!" in reference to actress Lillian Gish during the filming of "Whales in August" 1980s film. Actress Bette Davis scoffed about why Lillian Gish bother to perform at her own age. Both actress were in their 80s. Gish was in her nearly 100 years old. Bette Davis' sayings could be find on the page 222 of Robert Wagner's autobiography book. Bette Davis was among the
Golden Age Hollywood's biggest and powerful movie stars.

Here is the information about actress Bette Davis - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bette_Davis Many deaf people actually enjoyed the performance of Bette Davis over decades.

Robert Wagner also wrote that he proudly being part of the John Tracy Clinic in his autobiography on page 323. Wagner was the husband of respectable actress Natitale Woods whom died under suspectible nature - water drowning from the yacht.

Many deaf television audience fondly remember Robert Wagner from the ABC-TV's "Hart to Hart" detective couple show with actress Stephanine Powers in the 1980s decade. The "Hart to Hart" tv show was among the first television shows to be closed captioned for the deaf audience after very popular tv show, "Dynasty" among the deaf communities on every Wednesday nights!

You, readers could see his name on the John Tracy Clinic board members - http://www.jtc.org/about-us/board-of-directors

Very same child actress from another film, "Orphan" play the deaf character in "Resident Evil "Restribution". The child actress is Arayana Engineer. Hpw odd for this kind of surname - Engineer. You probably remember the cute blond deaf girl primarly use sign language in "Orphan" thriller film. That is her! The child actress is really partially deaf herself, not profoundly deaf as widely believed at the beginning.

"Orphan" 2009 film trailer - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgxVIB2WuHU

Image of Arayana Engineer - http://www.superiorpics.com/pictures2/Engineer_sd2.jpg

Image of Arayana's character from "Orphan" film - http://www.zuguide.com/images/20462/20462.6.219.138.jpg from Arayanna Engineer's own website.

Arayanna Engineer was discovered by the agent when she signed with her real-life mother. Her life was completely changed as a superb perfomer in the 2009 film, "Orphan". Arayanna have many fans and admirers of her film performance in "Orphan". Many people considered Arayanna to be one of the best
performer in "Oprhan" to the rest of film cast.

http://aryana-engineer.com/aryana.php

So the deaf character in 'Resident Evil - Retribution" will be not the signing one which the Wiki Encyclopedia incorrectly stated for this film. The deaf character in film trailer was seen by speaking orally "Do not go into this room!" as what the Wiki claimed. The deaf character and leading character known as "Alice", the anti heroine fought against the evils of corporatism and genetic engineering went astray led to the breeding of flesh-eating zombies. The relationship between the deaf child and Alice will be much like "Ripley and Newt" from "Aliens", the second film sequel to the 1979's "Alien" film. The name of deaf character is Becky.

You could see Becky a.k.a. Arayanna Engineer signed ASL in the official film trailer -
I, Robert L. Mason, was the F I R S T deaf person to expose Tom Bertling as "Lexie Cannes" and "Courtney O' Donnell pretty long time ago like last Fall 2011. I left the urgent message on Ella Mae Lentz's Facebook (FB) Wall to warn her that Lexie Cannes/Courtney O' Donnell was really Tom Bertling, the destructor of Deaf Language/Community and other things. That was the phase when Lexie Cannes/Courtney O' Donnell.promoted hir own film release.

Trudy Suggs also inquired on my Facebook Wall how can I be sure about Tom Bertling being Lexie Cannes and Courtney O' Donnell.

How DID I find out about Tom Bertling being Lexie Cannes/Courtney O' Donnell thru his film publicity release, ex. "pretended interview by someone notable journalist, ex. Courtney O Donnell??? I noticed the similar facial resemble via face shape and hir own writing styles.

http://www.lexiecannes.com/

I regretfully not write out the blog in the first place which I would look up past blog postings to back up my own claim.

Well, Ricky Taylor a.k.a Ridor9th was very stupid to chew out Tom Bertling a.k.a Lexie Cannes/Courtney O' Donnell on Deaf Queers and Allies. I kept my cool by not being confrontational to Lexie Cannes/ Courtney O' Donnell. Just used the common sense!

Look at nothing new about Ricky Taylor a.k.a Ridor9th getting kicked out of handful of deaf blogs snd vlogspheres!!

For example, the facades of row houses are structurally preserved for the way of new George Washington University mini-shopping mall in the 1980s to keep the 1800s row house building
facades.
The American School for the Deaf (ASD) alumni should opt for the reasonable compromise for saving the building facade of Gallaudet Hall and let the whole building demolish for the new building
addition against the facade.

Hopefully for the alumni of American School for the Deaf will ask for the second or third opinon about preserving the building facade of Gallaudet Hall to let the new building to accompany the needs of 21th century students and still keep the historical memory of this historic building.
The mainstream media coined "zombie attacks" in form of cannabilistic-like behavior within the latest newsreportings from the infamous Miami facial chew-up to the recent confession by the college student with top G.P.A, ate the brain of his own victim.

The prominent Gallaudet alumni, Cadwallader Washburn once dealt with cannibals somewhere on the remote island while he traveled overseas. He regularly etched stuff during his globe-trotting travels. Washburn ended up on the unknown island and got the royal treatment from native islanders. At first, Washburn was not realized that he was being fattened up by the cannibals. He taught the cannibals handful of sign language, too.

Washburn finally remembered that he read books about some cannibals living somewhere on the island. He had to sneak off at night and escaped from the island. Washburn wrote in his journal about such adventure. Washburn also purposely starved himself from being eaten by cannibals until he found the right moment to escape from the island with cannibals.
Great biographical stuff on Washburn by the Minnesota Association of the Deaf newsletter -

Cadwallader Lincoln Washburn– Painter, United States

Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and died in South Livermore, California (October 31, 1866 – December 21, 1965). Washburn became deaf at age 5 in 1871 from scarlet fever and spinal meningitis. His father, William Drew Washburn, was a U.S. Senator, and his family was wealthy with interests in timber, railways and mills(including the Gold Medal flour mills). He attended theMinnesota State Academy for the Deaf and then enteredGallaudet College in 1884. He also enjoyed studying insects, and in drawing illustrations he discovered an interest in art. After graduation he studied architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology but then moved to New York to study art. One of his teachers,William Chase, brought him to Europe to study with the artist Joaquin Sorolla in Spain. He met Pablo Picasso in Paris. In Venice he experimented with and eventually became a master of drypoint etching, producing almost 1,000 etchings during his career. He also had exciting adventures. While in Mexico for his health, he was asked by the Chicago Daily News to interview Francisco Madero, the Mexican president, and was the only reporter to get in to interview him (using written Spanish) before he was assassinated.

During the 1920s, he traveled with a professor from the University of Minnesota to the Marquesas Islands where he studied and drew sketches of birds and rare insects and successfully avoided being eaten by cannibals (he purposely stayed too thin for their taste). Just before he turned 77 in 1943, Washburn married Margaret Cowles Ohrt, who became his travel companion and interpreter. He received numerous honors for his works of art and his studies of insects, and Gallaudet University’s Washburn Arts Building was dedicated in his honor in 1969. Washburn’s works can be seen in many museums around the world, and also at the Charles Thompson Memorial Hall, a historic deaf club in St. Paul, Minnesota, that was designed by his friend Olof Hanson (a renowned deaf architect who also attended the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf and Gallaudet College around the same time as Washburn)
