As everyone know that the FOX-TV's "Family Guy" tv show is Ridor's personal favorite. Right??
What will Ricky Taylor aka Ridor will say about the FOX-TV's "Family Guy" mocking deaf people for the comedic purpose? Or Ridor really is behind the idea of "riffs" on deaf people?
This TV special with the mockery of deaf people will air next Sunday, November 8th.
Real important is to have the real sense of humor than enflaming ourselves as "mob mentality" rallying against the FOX-TV. "Family Guy" is just a tv show.
Perhaps the NAD will call for the official boycott of the FOX-TV. Who knows?

I stand with Seth McFarlane. His show is all about making fun of everyone else in particular. So why not Deaf people?
ReplyDeleteNO I won't protest. In fact, I look FORWARD to see it on TV. Marlee will be on that show as well.

Is it a new episode or a repeat?
ReplyDeleteRidor,
ReplyDeleteI know that you would be deighted about the Family Guy making the spoof of deaf people.
That would be real nice if Seth McFarlane do the likeness of you on the show. :)
Thanks for your comment.

Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteThat would be a brand-new episode! If it is a repeat. We would know pretty long time. Don't we? :)

One more thing -- Having The Family Guy's creators poking fun at Marlee and/or Deaf people, it meant one thing:
ReplyDeleteDeaf people has *arrived*. Our years of trying to be visible has paid off!

I will be looking forward to see it! where's the sense of humor? why Deaf people always get so mad? come on! get a grip!
ReplyDeleteRidor,
ReplyDeleteHow true! Our "deaf" visibility time finally come on animiated tv shows. :)

Anonymous #2,
ReplyDeleteYea, we ought to lighten up ourselves when come to the "mean" comedy. :)

This is nothing new. He has made fun of deaf people before, even Marlee Matlin and Helen Keller! Check out all family guy episodes on hulu.com
ReplyDeleteActually, there is high likelihood that it is Audism Free America, rather than National Association of the Deaf, that would call for boycott.
ReplyDeleteBut, please, no boycott. It is just a dumb move.

JPR: You wish. Nah, the AFA knew that TFG is satirical comedy which I'm a huge fan of.
ReplyDeleteGolly, you're so bitter with a personal axe to grind.
