If any of you, deaf people not able to attend either of the Audism Free America rallies across America. You, deaf people really could DO SOMETHING TODAY like creating your own blue ribbon on t-shirt or from your Christmas wrapping ribbons or on the poster paper or print LARGE BLUE RIBBON with the fact sheet about EXISTENCE OF AUDISM AGAINST DEAF PEOPLE in support of the AUDISM FREE AMERICA (AFA).
Here are several examples -
( BLUE RIBBON) AUDISM FREE AMERICA, APRIL 3rd
AUDISM (AUDIO + ISM) IS AN EQUIVALENT TO RACISM, SEXISM AND LOOKISM WHICH CREATE PREJUDICE /SYSTEMATIC DISCRIMINATION AND ATTITUDE INDIFFERENCE AGAINST CULTURAL AND LINGUISTIC MINORITY - DEAF PEOPLE. AUDISM OFTEN INVOLVES LOOKING DOWN ON DEAF PEOPLE AND THINK THAT ABILITY TO HEAR IS SOMETHING SUPERIORITY AND NOT RATIONALLY ACCEPT THE TRUER HUMAN DIVERSITY.
TODAY IS APRIL 3rd ACROSS AMERICA IN SUPPORT OF "AUDISM FREE AMERICA" NATIONWIDE RALLY, PLEASE DECLARE YOUR PERSONAL SUPPORT AND ACTION IN JOINING DEAF AMERICA TO DENOUNCE THE EXISTENCE OF AUDISM AND SEE DEAF PEOPLE AS FULLY EQUAL MEMBERS OF SOCIETY OF LARGE WITHOUT SOCIETAL PITY AND LOW EXPECTATION. WE MUST NOT DENY TRUE ECONOMIC, SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY TO DEAF PEOPLE WITHOUT SUPPRESSING THE RIGHT TO USE AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE AND VISUAL COMMUNICATION MODES.
DEAF BABIES AND CHILDREN NOWADAYS OFTEN DEPRIVE OF THEIR OWN LANGUAGE AND INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENT DUE TO UNWORKABLE IDEOLOGY AND BELIEFS FROM THE ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL ASSOCIATION OF THE DEAF (AGBELL).
MANY SOCIOLOGICAL AND LINGUISTIC RESEARCH FINDINGS SUPPORT THE NECESSITY OF SIGN LANGUAGE USES FOR DEAF CHILDREN TO BE FULLY EDUCATED AND BECOME A PRODUCTIVE AND MEANINGFUL CITIZEN OF EVERY SOCIETY.
EVERY OF US, HUMAN BEINGS HAVE OUR OWN DIFFERENCES AND ABILITIES TO ADJUST AND LEAD THE LIFE AS WE SEE AND FEEL FIT TO. "ONE COOKIE CUTTER" OF ALL HUMAN BEINGS WILL BE NOT LIKELY WORKING AT ALL. THAT'S WHAT MAKES OUR HUMANITY TO BE UNIQUELY SPECIAL.
END AUDISM EVERYWHERE IN AMERICA -
SUPPORT OF AUDISM-FREE AMERICA, APRIL 3rd!
Aslize yours,
