Mark Gobble, Former Texas School for the Deaf Principal DIED

Mark Gobble, the former Texas School for the Deaf principal and current associate professor at Boston University (MA) tragically died at very young age (30s). Gobble got struck by car in "hit & run" manner while he jogged. The police were looking for the suspect so far.

Actual info from Kerri Ann Johnson with more details about the last moments of Mark Gobble via Facebook comment posting  - Kerri Ann Jansson : The gist of it is that he was struck down by a car, a neighbor who happened to be a doctor saw it, and tried to save Mark's life performing CPR. Mark was then taken to the hospital where he died.

If any of you do not really know who Mark Gobble is. You either could do look up Mark Gobble on Facebook search (type Mark Gobble). Okay?

Mark Gobble just got the postiton as an associate professor at Boston University last May 2nd. How tragic! His speciality was educational psychology which Gobble often gave professional lectures on the issue of Deaf Education.

  1. I'm calling all attention to Deaf people who live in Austin. Jessica Holloway would like someone to step forward and do television interview about Mark Gobble. I know it might be too early for some of you but it would be nice for someone to schedule a television interview in remembrance of Mark Gobble.

  2. Very sad about it. Hope they find the driver.
I did not have good experience with him. I was victim of his bully behavior. He bullied me in the past. I tried to confront him. And it did not work out. I wish we could work it out.

  6. So it's ok to be anonymous only if you talk negatively about Mark?

Seriously, I know what you mean about him during Gally days. I disliked him and found him to be arrogant. But when I met him again years later, I couldn't believe how much he changed. He did mention that he regret his behavior when he was a student.

  7. Hey Anonymous,

The anonymous "bullying victim" of Mark Gobble ASKED me not to use hir name at all. I respected hir own wish!!

I just wonder why you rather to remain anonymous after praising Msrk Gobble.

Any bully will be always BULLY no matter he or she tried to outgrow hir own bullying tactics.

Mark Gobble never tried to make any amends with me. So he still was an asshole to me! I sent Mark Gobble very nice message. Guess what? Mark Gobble rather engage in status quo and elitism! Fuck him!

  8. I always post anonymously on the internet, not only this blog.

When did you send your message to him? Anyway, you're entitled to your opinion of him.

  9. I tried to confront Mark in the third times in respectful way to ask him stop being bullied at me because he was still bullied me again few years after he graduated from Gallaudet. I can see his horrible rage after I confronted him in the nice way. I am not speaking negatively about him. He hurt me a lot in non respectful way. I did my job to confront him in the nice way. My points is I wish he did not pass away. I just have to let him go and forgive him for putting me the victim of his bullied behavior.
